Description
Young Nello Daas and his grandfather barely make enough to stay alive. But they have a dream - a dream that one day Nello will be able to study with the best instructors and become a painter like Nello's idol, Rubens. They find a sick, beaten stray dog on the roadside, and he becomes part of their family right before grandfather dies.
