Snowflake, Arizona, six thousand feet up in the wide red desert. Ash is looking for her brother, Bly. She Mona; her goat, Socrates; her dog, Cooper; and finds Bly. They live in ramshackle homes, the walls lined with tinfoil. Mona and her neighbors are all sick. They've been poisoned by modern life. When Ash falls ill, the doctor says "It's all in your mind."
